Catching Some Sun
Looks like Superman is not the only person benefiting from our sun. According to a recent study, it suggests that some people may also benefit from getting some golden rays.
The study shows that even some sunlight may benefit the body tremendously from the vitamin D it produces. This includes protective effects for some cancers and ailments such as rickets, osteoporosis and diabetes. While we can get vitamin D from certain foods, the body's main source comes from the sun.In addition, since vitamin D helps our bodies use calcium, it is crucial in maintaining bone strength. Hence, a lack of it could potentially lead to heart disease, colon cancer and prostate cancer.
However, we're not talking about sun tanning or spending extended periods of time out in the open—we just need the vitamin D to help our body's immune system work properly.
So let's join the Man of Steel for a little sunshine.

This information is so resourceful! It just dawned on me that just walking around Manhattan while on business previously in the sun is quite awesome! I felt great! If many just get out & walk around in the sun, things would seem a lot brighter & your body is getting its just due!
